Jacqueline

 

Jacqueline van der Zwan was born in Tucumán, Argentina.

She grew up in the Netherlands together with her Argentinean mother, Dutch father, two sisters and brother.

 

Jacqueline has a few passions: flute playing, teaching and making empanadas!

 

As a classical flute player she graduated Cum Laude from the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and the Conservatory of Amsterdam.

She played in orchestras such as the Concertgebouw Orchestra and the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra.

She worked for two years in the Dutch Marine Band of the Royal Navy and for five years in the Residentie Orchestra in The Hague.

Musical ensembles : Duo Anemoi (flute / harp), Duo Subiaco (flute / piano), Tango Por Dos (tango music flute / piano) and Tango Por Tres (tango music, flute / violin / piano).

 

Out of love for her native country Jacqueline produces Argentinian empanadas that she supplies to individuals and restaurants!
